Midas Digital Audio Systems
Midas' live audio digital systems are more than just a collection of digital audio mixing consoles. Midas digital is a new generation of open architecture, cross platform, integrated audio control and distribution networks, which brings control of not only audio, but other aspects of a live performance to a single, intuitive control centre.
Midas digital offers the XL8 and PRO Series control centres along with a choice of modular input and output devices with user configurable card formats, and a digital audio network which provides a maximum of 432 audio inputs and 432 outputs. Also available as accessories for Midas digital consoles is the Klark Teknik DN9331, a motorised graphic EQ remote plus there's the option of adding a high resolution audio recorder in the form of the Klark Teknik DN9696. The DN9650 Network Bridge allows all Midas digital systems and Midas digital input / output hardware, Klark Teknik DN9696 High Resolution Audio Recorders and many other AES50 devices to connect to many different multichannel digital audio networks simply and reliably.
Offering the classic Midas audio quality, XL8 actually improves upon the performance of the analogue consoles, which have established Midas as the number one choice of sound engineers the world over. XL8 represents a new generation of networked systems, requiring only mics, amps and speakers to provide a complete audio system.

The Midas PRO Series Live Audio Systems can provide up to 104 simultaneous input processing channels and up to 35 discrete mixes in monitor mode, all of which feature EQ and a choice of dynamics processing options. By adding additional I/O hardware the PRO3, 6 and 9 network can be expanded to 288 inputs x 294 outputs, whilst the PRO2 and PRO2C expands to 156 inputs x 166 outputs with point-to-point routing anywhere within the network which can then be patched and routed on a scene-by-scene basis via a powerful snapshot automation system.
